- Southwestern College, B.A. double major in Philosophy and Religious Studies and History with a minor in Leadership Studies in 2011.
- Hugo Wall School of Urban and Public Affairs, Wichita State University, Master of Public Administration; anticipated Spring 2013.
- Georgetown University, studied ethics and voluntary democratic associations in Washington D.C. through The Fund for American Studies in 2008.
- American Legion Boys State of Kansas, Personnel Director. Recognizing that in every individual the opportunity to learn new leadership skills and the importance of civic duty is essential to a successful society. 2006-present.
- Served on the Board of Directors to the Winfield Public Library 2011.
- Served as Mayor, City of Winfield, Kansas 2011.
- Served as Chair to the Strother Field Industrial/Airport Park Board of Directors (Strother Field Commission) in 2010.
- Elected to the Winfield City Commission to a 4 year term 2009-2013 at the age of 20.
- Baccalaureate Speaker for Bluestem H.S. in 2009.
- Panel speaker for Cowley County Economic Forum in 2008.
- Served actively on the Winfield Park Board from 2007-2009. Advised on Island Park improvements, Hiatt Hills Park improvements, and helped form the advice to set up a steering committee similar to the former one in 2004 for the rebuilding of Island Park Playground only days after the tragic fire accident.
- Community volunteer for numerous non-profits and youth programs.
- Served through Student Life at Southwestern College as Conduct Advisor and President of Student Body 2008-2010.
- Worked with Big Brothers and Sisters in both clerical and development position from 2007-2009.
- Served as Student Pastor at Grace United Methodist Church from 2008-2011.
